At Raising Doodles, we allow our new puppy families to come and meet the puppies, momma dog, and get a chance to see where their new fur baby is being raised.
We allow our new puppy families to schedule a visit once our puppies reach 5 weeks of each.
Puppy visitations are granted ONLY to our families who have submitted an application and a deposit for a puppy.
We take the safety and protection of our puppies very seriously. Our puppies immune systems are still developing and are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. Therefore, for the safety and wellbeing of our puppies, only those who have placed a deposit and getting a puppy from us will be granted visitation rights.
We are always happy to do video calls with families who are interested in our puppies/program, but have not yet committed to getting a puppy from us to see the puppies and our puppy room!
Thank you for understanding and helping to keep all our puppies safe and healthy!
For the safely and protection of our puppies, we ask that you and your family refrain from visiting any high traffic dog areas i.e. dog parks, pet stores, dog shelters, etc. 48 hours prior to your visit.
We ask that no pets be brought to our home. As much as we would love to meet any current fur babies you may have, we need to ensure every puppy and their littermates are safe.
Our puppies immune systems are still developing. Upon arrival, you will be asked to take off your shoes and wash hands prior to playing with the puppies. We politely ask that you wear clean clothes and shoes for your visit.
Our puppy visitations are intimate with only one family at a time. Our puppies are still learning a lot and getting familiar with people so we ask that you bring only your immediate family with you. If you are living in a single person household, 1 additional friend or family member may come with you. Please make sure they have throughly read through this page as well.
Children are the responsibility of the parent(s). Please be sure your child is being supervised at all times and is respecting our property, home, and puppies. We do not want your children nor our puppies getting injured. Please instruct them to interact gently with the puppies and try and refrain from excess jumping/screaming. We want our puppies to learn that adults and children are safe, gentle, and loving.
Please be sure to arrive on time for your puppy visitation. We ask that you keep your visit to no more than 2 hour from your scheduled start time as we do schedule families back to back. This allows you and your family plenty of time to meet with puppies, mom, check out our puppy room, and directly ask any questions. Please feel free to bring a list of questions if needed! We love to get to meet our new puppy family’s and be sure you feel 100% confident and ready to bring home your new puppy!
Please make sure everyone visiting is aware of our visitation expectations. Keep in mind the things listed above are for the safety and best interest of our puppies. We look forward to welcoming you into our home to meet your new fur baby!
